You can now dictate to your Apple Watch with upgraded OneNote

Apple Watch wearers now have an excuse to act like Dick Tracy: the new Microsoft OneNote has been upgraded to take dictation.

Microsoft indicated the new feature for its OneNote for iPhone—version 2.11.7—in a description of the app at the iTunes Store.

"Excited about the Apple Watch? So are we! OneNote for Apple Watch allows you to pull up your recent notes or dictate new ones on the go, perfect for checking your list at the grocery store or capturing a thought instantly. Welcome to the future," it said.

These new features are aside from the usual bug fixes, it added.

Apple Watch, Apple's new wearable computing product, is due to launch April 24.

Enthusiast site 9to5mac.com noted the new OneNote on Apple Watch will let users "access their recently created notes, as well as create new ones via dictation."

It added there is a similar functionality from Evernote. — Joel Locsin/BM, GMA News
