Google bundles ‘goofy’ quiz into Earth Day doodle

Google on Wednesday not only drew up a doodle to celebrate Earth Day, but also threw in what it called a "goofy" quiz for visitors as well.

Visitors to Google's home page (www.google.com) were greeted with an Earth Day doodle showing a spinning Earth as one of the Os in "GOOGLE."

But clicking on the doodle will not just lead to a Search Results page for Earth Day – it will also lead to a "Which animal are you" quiz.

"Earth Day is a great time to search for information on how to celebrate and protect our planet–and it’s now a great time to find out something about yourself too," said the team behind the doodle.

It said the quiz works on just about any up-to-date browsers whether mobile or desktop.

"We learned a lot about nature’s precious pals and interesting inhabitants in the process of making and taking this quiz and we hope you do, too!" it said. — Joel Locsin/LBG, GMA News
