Samsung teases curved screen for next flagship phone

Samsung has started teasing a curved screen for its next Galaxy flagship smartphone, a tech site reported this week.

 

The Verge cited an invitation from Samsung for its Unpacked event on March 1, with an image of a curve above the message "What's Next."

 

"From the teaser image ... it looks like Samsung could well be applying its curved-screen technology first seen in the Galaxy Note Edge to its mainline series of smartphones," The Verge said.

 

Korea-based Samsung had first featured the curved screen in its Galaxy Note Edge.

 

Samsung is to reveal its flagship phone for 2015 at the Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event on March 1, ahead of Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. — Joel Locsin/TJD, GMA News
