VR tour of Visayas' heritage churches to complement Papal visit

 

When Pope Francis visits the Philippines in January, he will make it a point to visit the survivors of two of the most horrifying calamities to beset the country in recent history: the magnitude-7.2 quake that devastated Bohol and super Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan).

 

To give netizens a better idea of the trauma the survivors experienced, the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) has set up virtual tours of seven churches destroyed by the two calamities.

 

In its Papal Visit microsite, the CBCP featured 360-degree views of:
