Legend of Zelda's Link coming to Mario Kart 8

It's about time that Link—the swashbuckling hero whose name is definitely not Zelda—got his own set of smashingly cool wheels.
Gamers may find out as early as November when Nintendo includes Link in an add-on content (AOC) pack for Mario Kart 8 as a digital download.
In its UK store site, Nintendo indicated the AOC pack will include two new cups, with four courses.
Pack 1 includes Link along with Tanooki Mario and Cat Peach, as well as four vehicles and eight courses. Pack 2, due in May 2015, includes a villager, Isabelle and Dry Bowser.
"MK8 is already the best Mario Kart ever, and now it's about to give Super Smash Bros a run for its nostalgic money," tech site The Verge noted. — Joel Locsin/TJD, GMA News
