UP bonfire gets Lego treatment

Last Saturday's bonfire celebrating the UP Fighting Maroons' streak-busting win over the Adamson Falcons is now immortalized in LEGO.

 

UP instructor Ervin Bino Santos posted on his Facebook account Sunday a photo of his take on the bonfire, complete with a minifigure wearing a Sablay (graduation sash).

 

Other minifigures in the creation who surrounded the bonfire were clad in maroon.

 

Completing the scene was a minifigure appearing to resemble the Oblation.

 

"Pahabol! Congrats UP Fighting Maroons MBT (men's basketball team)!!" Santos said, and added several hashtags that included #UPBonfire, #NowheretogobutUP, #sawakas, #isapaplease, #taposnalosingstreak and #winningstreaknaman.

 

On Saturday, the UP Fighting Maroons shattered a 27-game UAAP men's basketball losing streak dating back to 2012 by downing the Adamson Falcons, 77-64.
