Six animals star in Google Doodle for earth day

Not one, not two, not three, but six animated animals starred in Google's Doodle for Earth Day on Tuesday.

Visitors to Google's homepage were greeted a "Happy Earth Day" by any of the six animals, which include:
  • a Rufous Hummingbird
  • a veiled chameleon
  • a moon jellyfish
  • a pair of Japanese macaques
  • a puffer fish, one of the world's potentially most poisonous
  • dung beetle
Each featured animal has three buttons—a search button that leads to Google Search results for the animal being featured; another to share the celebration of Earth Day on social networks; and one to reload the animation.
