Snoop Dogg pimps out Tekken Tournament 2

Tekken fans will soon get a taste of hip-hop with a special feature starring charismatic hip-hop artist Snoop Dogg.

 

Bandai Namco Games will launch a special Tournament Mode for “Tekken Tournament2” featuring an original “Snoop Dogg” Stage.

 

"At the center of the stage, there is a shiny Snoop Dogg original emblem and the surrounding features are decked out in gold! At the visitor area built on the side, will be hot and beautiful girls, along with Snoop Dogg who will appear from the gold theatre – a truly gorgeous stage indeed!" it said.

 

Playing in the background will be "Knoc 'Em Down," a new original theme written by Snoop Dogg.

 

It said the “Snoop Dogg” Stage is a first-time gold collaboration with the charismatic American hip-hop musical star.

 

"Snoop Dogg is a world famous American hip-hop musician, and always at the forefront with current fashion and the latest technology, His talent has built an unsurpassed position as a result. His music often symbolizes the American entertainment industry," Bandai Namco said.

 

It added he is filming a comedy “Mac & Devin Go To High School” (Directed by Dilan Brown, starring Snoop Dogg and Grammy Award nominee, Wis Khalifa) which will be launched and being prepared together with Snoopadelic Films, Anchor Bay Films.

 

Bandai Namco said the Tekken Tag Tournament 2 with the exclusive Snoop Dogg stage is now available for preorder.

 

In the meantime, it said new additional content is also being prepared and will be announced in due course.

 

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is the latest entry in the Tekken series which has sold more than 40 million copies worldwide.

 

Featured in the new roster are more than 50 playable characters. Up to four characters can be accommodated in one screen.

 

A new Tag Challenge mode made possible by Tag Assault allows two characters to attack, or two characters to throw at the same time.

 

This is in addition to the normal “2 vs 2 Tag Fight” or the Tekken basic “1 vs 1 Fight”. The game caters to all kinds of other playing modes like “1 vs 2 Fight”. — TJD, GMA News
