Magnitude 5 earthquake jolts Davao Occidental

A magnitude 5 earthquake shook Davao Occidental Wednesday morning,  according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS).

PHIVOLCS said the earthquake struck east of Jose Abad Santos town at 4:51 a.m.

The earthquake was tectonic in origin and had a depth of 10 kilometers.
