Magnitude 4.7 earthquake hits Zambales, felt in Metro Manila
A magnitude 4.7 earthquake shook Palauig, Zambales on Thursday afternoon, according to Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS).
Based on the PHIVOLCS’ earthquake bulletin, the tectonic quake occurred at 3:16 p.m. with a depth of 38 kilometers. It was initially measured at magnitude 4.8.
The epicenter of the quake was located 28 km southwest of Palauig.
