Supermoon expected in Philippine skies Tuesday night

A supermoon is expected to grace the Philippines' skies on Tuesday night.

According to GMA resident meteorologist Nathaniel "Mang Tani" Cruz's report on "24 Oras", the moon is considered super if it's a full moon which appear bigger and brighter.

The moon looks bigger and brighter because it is at nearest to the earth.

The supermoon, however, seemed to have shown itself one night earlier than expected.
