Catch the spectacular Perseids meteor shower on August 12

The Perseids meteor shower will peak during the late evening of August 12 and the early morning of August 13. According to a Facebook post by PAGASA, at least 50 or more meteors can be observed in the night sky during this time.
“The Perseids meteor shower radiates out from the constellation Perseus,” the post said.
According to NASA, meteors should be visible from late July to August 24, with an average of 50-100 meteors seen per hour. — Bea Montenegro, GMA News
