PAGASA celebrates 150th anniversary with new, easier-to-use website
As it marked its 150th anniversary on Monday, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration gave its website a new, more facile look.
Visitors to PAGASA's revamped website were greeted with a more streamlined look, with more prominent forecast lookups and social media feeds:

However, the backup site (kidlat.pagasa.dost.gov.ph) retains the old website's format, while the agency still maintains its social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter.
The daily weather forecasts and weather advisories are also more accessible, though the 5 a.m. weather updates were still delayed as of Monday morning.
Monday's web makeover was one of the highlights of the agency's 150th anniversary, which included a thanksgiving Mass, a motorcade, and exhibit of poster-making contest entries.

- technical assistance and simplification of weather and climate information materials
- soft launch of Patnubay ng Weder Forkast
