Businessman in Cebu introduces water bike

A businessman in Cebu City came up with a new way to enjoy the breathtaking views of the city's ocean by inventing a water bike!

According to Kuya Kim's report on "24 Oras," Tuesday, Jaime Ngosiok loves biking in water.

"Instead of biking in land, it's called water bike so I love to be biking in water," Jaime said.

To make the bike float on water, Jaime attached stabilizers on both sides.

"Ang materials nito is made of fiberglass. Just in case may sira, puwedeng ma-repair mo 'yun," he said.

He also equipped the bike with an engine so that the cyclist would not struggle with using it.

"I have never seen before in the Philippines a water bike with makina. If you have a gallon of fuel from here, you can reach Bohol maybe one way.  But I'm planning to buy two outboard motors so it will be faster," Jaime said.

"It's similar to jet ski but it's much cheaper, and at the same time, you can exercise," he added.
