Ngayong Huwebes, samahan si Kara David na makisaya sa isa sa pinakamakulay at pinakamasayang fiesta sa Pilipinas, ang Pahiyas Festival ng bayan ng Lucban sa Quezon!

Tuwing Mayo, nagbabago ang itsura ng mga kabahayan sa bayan ng Lucban Quezon. Nakasanayan na kasi ng mga Lucbanin na palamutian ang mga bahay nila ng makukulay na kiping tuwing Pahiyas Festival. Pero alam niyo ba na ang mga kiping, pwede ring kainin? Isa sa highlight ng Pahiyas Festival ang Kiping cooking contest at ang mga nagwaging putahe na Kiping Crescent, Kiping Soufflé, at Kiping Liputi Mousse… talaga namang winner sa sarap!


Titikman din natin ang mga kilalang pagkain na tatak Lucban, ang Pancit Habhab, Langgonisang Lucban at ang Hardinera. At para makumpleto ang ating foodtrip, lalantakan din natin ang sikat nilang matatamis, ang Broas at ang Unday-unday!

This Thursday, join Kara David as she enjoys the colourful and fun Pahiyas Festival in Lucban, Quezon.
During the month of May, the houses in Lucban transform to colourful designs. Decorating their houses with colourful designs called Kiping as part of their tradition in the celebration of their annual Pahiyas Festival. But do you know that Kiping does not only serve as a decoration? Kiping is edible, and one of the highlights of the festival is the Kiping Cooking Contest, and the winning dishes are Kiping Crescent, Kiping Souffle and Kiping Liputi Mousse.
We will also try out the popular dishes of Lucban, like pancit habhab, Langgonisang Lucban, and Hardinera. And to complete our food trip, we will also devour their famous sweets like Broas and Unday-unday.
