Mga kakaibang monggo recipe, ihahain sa 'Pinas Sarap'

Hindi pa Biyernes mga Kapuso pero monggo ang lalantakan natin ngayong Huwebes sa Pinas Sarap. Samahan si Kara David alamin ang kasagutan kung bakit nga ba ang Friday ay Monggo Day! Titikman din natin ang iba’t ibang putaheng pinasarap ng monggo!



Guisadong Monggo ang pinakasikat na lutong Pilipino sa monggo. Pero bukod dito, may iba pang dish na pwedeng tikman gaya ng sizzling monggo with lechon kawali at barawbaw. Ang ilan nating paboritong putahe gaya ng sinigang at bulalo, mas pinasasarap din ng monggo. Nakatikim na ba kayo ng monggo bulalo at monggo sinigang?



Pero hindi lang pang-ulam ang monggo, masarap din itong gawing merienda, gaya ng Lelot Balatong o Ginataang monggo, Monggo Bolognese, Hopia monggo, Buchi at Bibingkoy. Titikman din natin ang mga deserts na gawa sa monggo sprouts o toge gaya ng toge tacos, custard toge at toge tart.

Sauteed Mung beans is the most popular dish to most Filipinos. But aside from this, there are other dishes served with Mung beans such as Sizzling monggo with fried pork, and barawbaw. And do you know that some of our favourite dishes like sinigang and bulalo, can also be served with Mung beans?

Mung beans are not only mixed with dishes, this is also served as snacks, like Lelot Balatong or mung beans with coconut milk, Monggo Bolognese, Hopia Monggo, Buchi and Bibingkoy. There are also deserts made with Mung bean sprouts, like mung bean sprouts tacos, custard sprouts and sprouts tart.
