Mga putaheng mas pinasarap ng strawberry, ihahain sa 'Pinas Sarap'

Ngayong nalalapit na ang tag-init, isa sa mga dinarayong lugar ang Baguio City na tinaguriang Summer Capital of the Philippines. Pero bukod sa malamig na klima, patok din sa mga turista ang iba’t ibang pagkain na ang bidang sangkap--- strawberry!

Karaniwan nang mabibili sa Baguio ang strawberry taho at strawberry ice cream. Pero bukod dito may iba pang strawberry desserts na matitikman gaya ng strawberry shortcake, strawberry pistachio pizza at strawberry bibing-crisp!

Mula sa Baguio, ilang minuto lang ang biyahe para marating ang malawak na strawberry farm sa katabi nitong bayan ng La Trinidad. April hanggang May ang peak ng harvest season ng strawberry. Bilang pasasalamat sa masaganang ani, ipinagdiriwang ng La Trinidad ang Strawberry Festival at ang highlight ng fiesta, ang Giant Strawberry Cake!

Pero bukod sa panghimagas, kaya ring pasarapin ng strawberry ang mga lutuin. Nakatikim na ba kayo ng Strawberry Sinigang, Strawberry Chicken Pork Adobo, Menudo berry, Strawberry Glazed Chicken wings at Yasuragi roll.

Now that summer is here, one of the places to visit the place known as Summer Capital of the Philippines, Baguio City. But aside from its cool climate, tourists also look forward to trying out the various foods with strawberry.

Strawberry tofu and strawberry ice cream are commonly sold in Baguio. There are also other strawberry desserts that are available like strawberry shortcake, strawberry pistachio pizza and strawberry bibing-crisp!

Not far from Baguio, there is a vast strawberry farm located in La Trinidad. The peak of the harvest season is from April to May. As their way of giving thanks to the bountiful harvest, the town of La Trinidad celebrates Strawberry Festival, and the highlight of the fiesta is a Giant Strawberry Cake!
