Iba't ibang minatamis tuwing Pasko, ihahain sa 'Pinas Sarap'

Tuwing Noche Buena, present sa hapag ang pansit, spaghetti, fried chicken, hamon at iba pang handa. Pero siyempre kung may masasarap na putahe, hindi rin mawawala ang matatamis na panghimagas. Ngayong Huwebes samahan si Kara David muling tikman ang mga authentic Pinoy desserts na lalo pang magpapatamis ng Pasko!


 

Kung sawa na kayo sa fruit salad at leche flan, pwedeng alternative desserts ang mga tradisyunal na panghimagas mula sa iba’t ibang probinsiya sa Pilipinas. Mula Batanes, matitikman ang desserts na gawa sa rootcrops, ang wakay rolls, dukay salad at ginataang gabi! Sweet local pastries naman ang ibinibida ng mga Bulakenyo, ang inipit de leche at pinaso! Nilalamig ba kayo ngayong Pasko? Huwag palalagpasin ang cool but sizzling hot desserts ng mga Bicolano, ang sili ice cream at ice cold coffee na may sili, ang cold brew chili!


 

Perfect dessert din ngayong Pasko ang mga Pinoy kakanin gaya ng bico, palitaw at sapin-sapin. Pero kung mahilig kayo sa fruits, masarap ding lantakan ang mga panghimagas na pinasarap ng prutas gaya ng banana rhum-ah o special banana turon at ng delicious combination ng buko at tinapay, ang buko pie.

If you want to try something new aside from fruit salad and leche flan, there are other alternative traditional desserts from different provinces in the Philippines. Batanes have desserts made from rootcrops like wakay rolls, dukay salad and taro with coconut milk. While the Bulakenyos have sweet local pastries like inipit de leche and pinaso. And if you feel cold this Christmas, try the cool but sizzling hot desserts of Bicolanos like chili ice cream and ice cold coffee with chili and cold brew chili.

The Pinoy rice cakes like bico, palitaw and sapin-sapin are also perfect to prepare this Christmas. But if you like fruits, try the banana rhum-ah or a special banana turon and the delicious combination of coconut and bread called buko pie.
