Para sa cheerleading team ng Maasin, Southern Leyte, ang kanilang puso at lakas ng loob ang kanilang instrumento para makamit ang First Place sa 2015 Batang Pinoy National Championship. Hindi man marangya at bihasa sa gymnastics, buo ang kanilang loob na may pag-asa sila sa kanilang kalaban na mga gymnast at mga taga-Metro Manila.

Si Coach Madel Resos, tubong Maasin, ang pangunahing gumagabay sa cheerleading team ng kanilang maliit na bayan. Noong kanyang kabataan nagkaroon siya ng pagkakataong sumali sa national gymnastics ng Pilipinas ngunit hindi siya pinalad dahil sa kawalan ng pondo. Sa kasalukuyang Team Maasin ay nabuhay muli ang pangarap ni Coach Madel na magbigay ng karangalan sa kanilang bayan. Sa cheerleading, may sayang nakukuha ang mga bata. Salat man ang kanilang bulsa para sa sapatos o equipment, pinupunan ang pagkukulang na ito ng kanilang puso at lakas ng loob.

Team spirit like no other.
 
For a cheerleading team from Maasin, Southern Leyte, winning the coveted First Place at the 2015 Batang Pinoy National Championship will be determined by the courage of their hearts and their passionate souls. These hard-up children may have the littlest means to pull off a grand spectacle (in fact, none of them is a gymnast), but with their earnest spirit, they still stand a chance next to their Metro Manila and gymnastics-trained competitors.

Leading Team Maasin is Coach Madel Resos, a proud Maasinhon whose chance in national gymnastics was cut short because there were no available funds. With this team of Maasin children, she continues to fulfill the dream to bring pride to their humble town. These children have found happiness in cheerleading, despite having no proper shoes or equipment. The team is powered by their unbreakable will to win: what their pockets lack, they make up for with heart and spirit.
