After spending most of his life waiting under the guava tree, Juan’s big moment finally arrives. The fruits of his favorite tree turn to gold and start to fall. Juan manages to catch hundreds of guavas in his mouth … at almost the same time!  With his best friend Miong documenting the proceedings on his smart phone, Juan’s unbelievable guava-catching video goes viral. 
 
Juan becomes a nationwide internet sensation.  Groups of Juanatics follow his every move.  Soon the Guava Boy phenomenon spreads worldwide!
 

Juan and Miong create a game app inspired by their massively successful video.  Entitled Catch the Golden Guava … this game turns into an addiction for majority of the Filipino people.  
 
Juan - who has been poor and homeless in the most episodes - suddenly reaps a level of success he never even dreamed of.   
 
The role of Juan Tamad is essayed by talented Kapuso comedian Sef Cadayona while Miong is played by RJ Padilla.
