Are we ready for our own Pinoy boyband?
Pinoys have a sweet tooth when it comes to pop. In the 90’s, it was the Americans brand of bubblegum pop that dominated the charts with the likes of NSync and Backstreet Boys. In the 2000’s it was the sensational Taiwanese group F4, and in the 2010’s, the colorful KPop boybands. Now, the question is, are we ready for our own brand boybands?
Months ago, talented good-looking young men have been eyeing the attention of commuters with their acapella rendition of Uptown Funk. It turns out that these group of boys are part of GMA News and Public Affairs’ boyband search “To the TOP.”
