Frogs and insects on ‘Born to be Wild’

Frogs and insects may get less attention compared to other animals but their contribution to the environment is immense. Pollinator insects help plants produce their fruit, which is our food. Apart from being good bioindicators, frogs eat insects that can bring disease to humans.

 

 

 

Insects are fascinating creatures that have remarkable abilities. Ants are not only hard workers but can also lift objects that are many more times their weight. And one insect known as the “walking stick” can trick you into thinking it’s just part of the plant!

 

Some frogs, on the other hand, look like mysterious horned and fanged creatures. And these special frogs can be found right here at home.
