Snake with a broken jaw on ‘Born to be Wild’

Doc Ferds has seen many snake injuries in more than a decade of wildlife rescues. But this, he says, is the worst case of facial damage that he has encountered in a snake. The python that was found under a vehicle suffered from a broken jaw after residents had to forcibly remove it.  Will the snake survive a delicate operation?

In Mindanao, Doc Nielsen and the team aid in the release of civet cats back into the wild. But not all civets will be as lucky. Some still need to be treated and will have to remain in the facility. Poaching and the illegal wildlife trade are taking these animals from their natural home in the forests. But bringing them back won’t be so easy.
