Balabac mouse deer and dolphin rescue on 'Born to be Wild'

Airing date: February 14, 2016

In Tagum City, Davao, Doc Ferds Recio responds to a dolphin stranding.  With the help of the local BFAR, the juvenile dolphin was placed in a make-shift pool for further observation.  According the locals, just a few days before the juvenile dolphin was rescued, a bigger dolphin was found dead on the same shore.  Will the dolphin make it back to its wild home?

Doc Nielsen Donato travels to an island in Palawan where the endemic mouse deer can be found.  Known locally as pilandok, these animals are also elusive.  For eight years, the Born team has made several attempts to document them in the wild.  This time, the team finally gets their chance.
