Reptiles have been roaming the earth for millions of years.  But now, many species of reptiles are on the red list of endangered species.  Other risk factors—including natural calamities and human activities—continue to threaten their numbers.

In Iligan City, Doc Ferds Recio visits the Philippine freshwater crocodiles affected by Tropical Depression Agaton which ravaged the area this January.  The Philippine crocodiles—which were bred as part of a program to increase their population—are wounded and need immediate treatment.  Doc Ferds teaches the park caretakers how to administer medicines to these crocs.

In Roxas, Palawan, Doc Nielsen Donato attempts to save a 12-foot reticulated python that was almost run over by a vehicle.  The residents who found it on the street show Doc Nielsen the snake’s condition.  The python was found to have a serious wound on its mouth.
