Get to know Angel Ram, the Fil-Am who sang the 'Lupang Hinirang' at the Pacquiao-Broner fight
Filipino American award-winning singer Angel Ram sang the Philippine national anthem at the Manny Pacquiao vs. Adrien Broner for the for the WBA welterweight title on Sunday morning (PHL time) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Angel is now based in Jersey City, New Jersey State, USA. She was originally from Zamboanga.
In an interview with Sun Star Superbalita Cebu, she said it's always been her dream to be able to sing in a boxing arena.
“I’m proud Cebuana and proud Zamboangueña. It’s been a dream of mine to perform in a boxing arena. And I’m proud that I have to sing with the Singing Pastors during the Pacquiao vs. Broner fight," Angel told Superbalita Cebu.
On 24 Oras, Angel said she couldn't believe she received the opportunity to sing the Lupang Hinirang for the Pacquiao-Broner match. "Everyone's so excited for me," she said.
In 2017, Angel became part of Team USA for Broadway, Rock, Gospel category in the the World Championship of Performing Arts.
In a recent interview for Kapuso Abroad Becoming Pinoy series, she said she has been working all over USA.
"I work primarily as a singer, I sing all over New York and New Jersey and also like other parts in Connecticut and DC or Maryland."
