US Embassy to open new visa application center in Parañaque City

The US Embassy in the Philippines will open a new visa application center (VAC) located in  Parañaque City, alongside an updated appointment system starting Sept. 28. 

The latest VAC is located at Parqal Building 8, Level 3, Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard, Barangay Tambo. 

“Immigrant and nonimmigrant visa applicants seeking interview appointments starting September 28 will be required to schedule a separate appointment at the VAC for photo capture and fingerprint scanning prior to their interview at the U.S. Embassy on Roxas Boulevard,” the embassy said in a statement on Friday. 

With the new application center, the US Embassy advised applicants to register in the redesigned and user-friendly appointment system via ustraveldocs.com/ph.

Those who have existing accounts in the present visa appointment system are advised to sign up to the new platform using their existing email address to retrieve their data from the old system. 

The appointment slots available at the new VAC are every Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday, 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. 

“No appointment is needed for applicants who would like to pick up their passports or drop off interview waiver visa applications and other required documents from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday,” the embassy added.
