Here's how overseas Filipinos can cast their votes online for Eleksyon 2025

For the first time, overseas Filipino voters will be able to cast their ballots online in the upcoming 2025 Philippine midterm elections.
The Commission on Elections (Comelec) is enabling internet voting in 77 Philippine embassies and consulates worldwide to make the voting process more accessible for 1,241,690 registered overseas Filipino voters.
The GMA Integrated News Social Media Team, in partnership with GMA Integrated News Research and PressOne.PH, has come out with Eleksyonaryo: The Dapat Totoo Digital Exclusives to pre-bunk misinformation and educate Filipino voters online.
Here's how to vote online as an overseas Filipino, based on the Eleksyonaryo guide:
Step 1: Make sure you're a registered voter
To vote via the internet, you must be a registered voter in a country that offers online voting.
Visit the official Comelec website to check which embassies or consulates are implementing internet voting.

Step 2: Register for pre-voting enrollment
Before you can vote, you must enroll in the Overseas Voting and Counting System during the pre-voting enrollment period from March 20 to May 7, 2025.
You may register through the following methods:
- Self-pre-voting enrollment: Use your own internet-capable device to register online.
- Embassy or Consulate Voting Kiosk: Visit your nearest embassy or consulate's voting kiosk during the overseas voting period from April 13 to May 12, 2025.
Field or Mobile Pre-Voting Enrollment: Some embassies and consulates will set up mobile enrollment services.

Step 3: Complete Your Enrollment
Once eligible, sign up through the official pre-voting enrollment link provided by Comelec. This link will be shared via:
- Comelec's official website and social media pages
- The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA)
- The official pages of embassies and consulates
You'll need to:
- Fill out the internet voting enrollment form
- Submit a facial image capture, an ID photo, and a short video holding your ID
Once successfully enrolled, you'll receive a notification with a link to the Login Voting Portal.

Step 4: Cast Your Vote
During the official 30-day online voting period from April 13 to May 12, 2025, Philippine Standard Time, you can cast your vote for senators and one party-list organization or coalition using an internet-enabled device.
Senior citizens, pregnant women, illiterates, or persons with a disability (PWD) may also use the voting kiosk at the embassy or consulate.
