DMW urges public to report persons offering fake OECs

The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) on Tuesday urged the public to report persons offering fake Overseas Employment Certificates (OEC).

Reports may be sent to airtipinfo@dmw.gov.ph or through DMW’s Facebook page.

This was after the Bureau of Immigration intercepted a woman from leaving the country after she presented a fake OEC last December 30.

“Paalala ng DMW na maging matalino at huwag magpaloko sa mabilisang pagproseso ng dokumento para makaalis ng bansa at magtrabaho abroad upang hindi mabiktima ng illegal recruitment, human trafficking, at online scams,” the DMW said in a Facebook post on Tuesday.
