US Embassy, visa application center closed on January 1 and 20, 2025
The United States (US) Embassy in the Philippines and its visa application center will be closed on January 1, Wednesday, and January 20, 2025, Monday.
According to the embassy, this is in observance of two holidays, namely New Year's Day and the birthday of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr.

"Visa and routine American Citizen Services appointments will not be scheduled on these dates," the US Embassy said in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
Meanwhile, the US Embassy said that appointments on other dates will continue as scheduled.
Earlier this week, the embassy announced a closure of operations on Christmas Eve, December 24, following a recent executive order from the White House, postponing scheduled visa interviews. — VDV, GMA Integrated News
