PH Consulate's parol brings Filipino Christmas spirit to Manhattan

LOS ANGELES, California — The Philippine Consulate General in New York City has lit up a stunning six-foot light-emitting diode (LED) Christmas lantern displayed prominently in front of the consulate.

This vibrant LED parol is visible to passersby along Manhattan's busy 5th Avenue, a globally renowned destination visited by millions of tourists from various countries during the Holiday season.

The annual parol lighting has become a cherished tradition for the consulate, celebrating Christmas as part of the festivities at the Philippine Center.

Additionally, a large LED screen outside the consulate showcases breathtaking destinations across the Philippines, supporting the Department of Tourism's "Love the Philippines" campaign, which seeks to attract global travelers to visit the country.
