DMW hosts boodle-fight for National Maritime Week

The Department of Migrant Workers celebrated the National Maritime Week with a traditional boodle-fight feast for seafarers at the Philippine International Convention Center, Pasay City.

In attendance were DMW Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac, House Committee on Overseas Workers Affairs Chairman Jude Acidre and Vice Chairperson Khymet Olaso.

“The simple feast showcases the solidarity and friendship among the seafarers, industry partners, and the government in a shared commitment to protect, empower, and uplift the lives of Filipino seafarers and their families,” the DMW said in a statement.
