Former KOJC member now in US urges Quiboloy's alleged victims to come forward

LOS ANGELES, California -  A former worker of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) led by Pastor Apollo Quiboloy called on other alleged victims to step forward and take advantage of the government’s offer of help.

Arlene Stone, spokesperson for former KOJC members now residing in the US, made this appeal, emphasizing that now is the opportune time to leave the church and seek assistance.

In a message to GMA Integrated News, Stone expressed confidence that the collapse of KOJC is imminent following Quiboloy's arrest. He is currently detained at the Philippine National Police (PNP) Custodial Center in Camp Crame in Quezon City facing multiple charges in Quezon City and Pasig Regional Trial Courts.

“To all KOJC full-time workers, this is the perfect time to open your eyes and leave. Pastor Quiboloy and other leaders are now in jail. The foundation of your organization is collapsing,” Stone stated.

Stone also disclosed that many alleged victims of Quiboloy remain inside KOJC, based on calls from families who say their loved ones are still trapped in the organization.

However, fear continues to hold many back due to threats from the so-called KOJC "Angels of Death," a group allegedly tasked with intimidating those who expose the abuses within KOJC, she added.

GMA News Online contacted Quiboloy's camp for comment but has yet to receive a reply as of posting time.

The PNP on Monday confirmed the existence of the KOJC "Angels of Death," adding that possible members of this alleged private army have been identified.

Stone said that alleged victims have nothing to be afraid of because the government is willing to help them get justice.

“There is help available from the government now, but we don’t know if this assistance will be available for long. Please take this opportunity to reclaim yourselves and start anew,” Stone urged.

Alleged victims in the US are hopeful that Quiboloy will soon be extradited to the United States to face charges filed against him in the Southern District Court of California, with hearings set for May 20, 2025.

They are hoping that Quiboloy will be extradited before the said hearing next year.

Quiboloy has also been indicted by a federal grand jury in the US District Court for the Central District of California for conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking by force, fraud and coercion and sex trafficking of children; sex trafficking by force, fraud and coercion; conspiracy; and bulk cash smuggling.
