Ex-Tiktoker Ali Abulaban sentenced to life imprisonment for killing Pinay wife, friend

A court in California sentenced former Tiktok personality Ali Abulaban to life imprisonment for killing his 28-year-old Filipino wife, Ana Abulaban, and her friend Rayburn Cardenas Barron.

Abulaban, 32, who went by “Jinnkid” on social media, was sentenced on September 7 to 50 years to life in prison without the possibility of parole in San Diego, California, according to the CBS8 television station website.

Estranged from his wife, Abulaban shot the two victims in her apartment in October 2021  after he found out that Ana was with a man through an app he installed on their daughter’s iPad.

Abulaban admitted to the killings, adding that he was dealing with mental health issues and cocaine addiction.

According to the prosecutor, the domestic violence incidents that Ana experienced from Abulaban and his cheating prompted their separation. — Mariel Celine Serquiña/DVM, GMA Integrated News
