Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau attended a Filipino community event that showcases Philippine cuisine and culture in Toronto on Sunday (Philippine time).

“Mabuhay! Great to be back at the Taste of Manila in Toronto. The Filipino community in Canada is nearly 1 million strong, and our country is richer, and more vibrant for it”, Trudeau said in his tweet on X (formerly Twitter).
Now in its 11th year, Taste of Manila 2024 will also feature Kapuso actor Alden Richards, Asia’s Multimedia Star and comedian Boobay. The food festival was held on August 17 and 18, 2024 at Wilson Ave. and Bathurst St. Toronto, Ontario.
"Yorme" Isko Moreno also met Trudeau as Sparkle joined the annual celebration. The two men shook hands and exchanged pleasantries during their meeting as the crowd took photos and selfies.
