By GMA Integrated News
The Philippine Embassy in Korea has reminded the Filipino community in South Korea to observe safety precautions to prevent heat-related illnesses amid the summer heatwave.
In an advisory, the Embassy said Filipinos in South Korea should drink plenty of water and move to a cooler area whenever they feel symptoms of heat-related illnesses.
“Drink plenty of water, go to a cool place when you feel nausea, dizziness, or headache, and constantly check the news for heatwave warnings or updates are among the ways our community can keep safe during the heatwave,” it said.
