Thirty-two distressed overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) from Kuwait have arrived in the Philippines, according to Mao dela Cruz's report on Dobol B TV on Monday.
Among the latest batch of repatriates were three minors and an infant. They arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3.
The repatriation was spearheaded by the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration's Migrant Workers Office (OWWA-MWO) in coordination with the Philippine Embassy.
OWWA representatives welcomed the OFWs at the airport to assist them in customs and immigration processes.
The OFWs were given food assistance, hotel accommodation, and transportation to their respective provinces. They will also receive financial assistance, according to OWWA. —KBK, GMA Integrated News
