The 21 Filipino seafarers rescued from a ship damaged by a Houthi attack last week will arrive in Manila on Monday afternoon, according to the Presidential Communications Office.

The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) on Saturday said 21 of the 22 Filipino seafarers of MV Tutor were rescued and arrived at the Port of Manama, Bahrain at around 5:30 p.m local time on Saturday.

They were received by Philippine Ambassador to Bahrain Anne Jalando-on Louis and will be joined by DMW Labor Attaché Hector Cruz.

DMW said the Filipino seafarers are expected to board a flight back to the Philippines on Sunday evening.
