Some OFWs returning from Israel report missing items from luggage
The relief some OFWs felt after escaping the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict was somewhat tempered by consternation after they discovered some items missing from their luggage—or their luggage missing entirely—upon their arrival here.
According to Sandra Aguinaldo's report on "24 Oras" on Tuesday, some of the OFWs reported shoes, chocolates, keys and other items missing from their luggage. One woman said she couldn't find her luggage itself.
The Filipinos had flown from Tel Aviv, Israel, with their flight making a stopover in Abu Dhabi before continuing to Manila.
The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) vowed to help them file a complaint against the airline.
