DFA Aseana, some consular, passport offices in NCR only open half-day on July 24, 2023
DFA Aseana, DFA Consular Offices (COs), and Temporary Off-Site Passport Services (TOPS) in the National Capital Region—with the exception of those in Quezon City—will only be open half-day on Monday, July 24, 2023, the Department of Foreign Affairs said.
In a statement, the DFA said that the aforementioned services will be shortened on Monday due to the expected effects of Typhoon Egay and the scheduled three-day transport strike.
"Applicants for consular services with affected confirmed appointments in DFA Aseana, Consular Offices, and TOPS sites in Metro Manila will be accommodated from Tuesday, 25 July 2023 to Friday, 25 August 2023.
"TOPS (in Metro Manila) applicants will be accommodated at their respective Supervising Consular Offices (SCOs) from Tuesday, 25 July 2023 to Friday, 25 August 2023. TOPS applicants are instructed to follow the same time slot of their original appointment," the DFA said.
The Passport Releasing Service Center in Double Dragon Meridian Park, Pasay City will also only be open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday. — BM, GMA Integrated News
