SUV hits group of Pinoy bikers in Kuwait; at least 12 hurt

An SUV hit a group of Filipino bikers in Kuwait even though they were in the bike lane, according to a "24 Oras Weekend" report on Saturday.
 
The biker group was composed of 60 Filipinos. At least 12 of them were hurt, and four of them are still in the hospital.
 
According to witnesses, the victims were in the bike lane when the incident happened on Friday morning.
 
In an interview with Super Radyo dzBB, Department of Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Eduardo de Vega said the embassy received a report that 15 of them were injured.
 
Seven of them were discharged, while eight are still in the hospital.
 
De Vega said the SUV driver, who is possibly a Kuwaiti national, had yet to be located.
 
Authorities are also investigating whether the incident was an accident or intentional. — Richa Noriega/VBL, GMA Integrated News
