Filipino woman found dead in New York City hotel room —DFA

A Filipino woman was found dead inside her hotel room in New York City, Unang Balita reported on Friday, citing the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).

According to DFA spokesperson Teresita Daza, the Office of the Chief Examiner of New York City informed the Philippine Consulate General regarding the body.

No details were immediately available regarding the cause of death, but the family of the deceased has already been informed about the discovery of her body.
