71-year-old Pinay attacked, robbed in California

A 71-year-old Filipino woman was attacked and robbed in California in the United States of America, Unang Balita reported on Thursday.

The victim just came out of a fast food joint when the suspect grabbed her bag and hit her head with a blunt object, the report said, citing the victim's stepson.

The suspect then fled onboard a car.

The victim was brought to a hospital where her condition is being monitored.

Police said they already have the security footage from the area where the attack took place. They reportedly refused to give details while the investigation is ongoing. —KBK, GMA News
