Philippine Embassy in Indonesia invites Filipinos to a gathering with Marcos next month

The Philippine Embassy in Jakarta encouraged Filipinos in Indonesia to attend a gathering with President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. when he visits the country in September.

The embassy said it would open an online registration portal where interested individuals must register their personal information, passport number, and contact details.

An applicant will receive a confirmation notice via email from the embassy.

Guests must bring their Philippine passport and confirmation notice. Organizers may require a negative COVID-19 antigen test result, and the embassy advised Filipinos to wait for further announcements on the matter.

The embassy also urged attendees to follow the security and health protocols.

Marcos will be in Indonesia from September 4 to 6 before flying to Singapore to cap off his first overseas trip since taking office on June 30. —Sherylin Untalan/VBL, GMA News
