Fil-Am family in Oregon wakes up to smog, haze from wildfires

The neighborhood of Clackamas county in Oregon is enveloped in an orange haze as show in the photo taken by Fil-Am nursing student Heidi Campbell.

Campbell told GMA News Online that the summer time in Oregon is really very dry and that wildfires usually occur only within the forested areas.

However, this time is their worst experience as the fires have spread to the towns.

She lives in Canby town that has been classified under Alert Level 1, which means residents are on standby and should be ready to evacuate. 

Campbdell underscored that her family remains safe and as they have been staying indoors since the start of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. — BAP GMA News
