208 Pinoy seafarers repatriated from UAE – DFA
Amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) threat, over 200 Filipino seafarers from the Middle East were repatriated back to the country on Saturday, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said.
According to the DFA, a total of 208 seafarers from the MS Norwegian Jade from the United Arab Emirates arrived in the Philippines past 9 p.m. aboard Emirates Airlines flight 334.
Since the repatriation flight from China's Wuhan City, 11,613 Filipinos have been repatriated from abroad.

The DFA earlier reported that a total of 651 Filipinos abroad have tested positive for the COVID-19 with 188 recoveries and 84 fatalities.
Health authorities, meanwhile, announced that COVID-19 cases in the country were recorded at 4,428 with 247 deaths and 157 recoveries. — DVM, GMA News
