PH tourist destinations featured in Times Square's 'Billboard to the World'
LOS ANGELES, CA - The Department of Tourism's (DOT) 'Love the Philippines' campaign is now featured on the 'Billboard to the World' in Times Square, highlighting the Philippines' world-class tourist attractions.
This initiative is part of a global effort by the DOT to encourage tourists to explore the beauty of the Philippines.
According to New York Tourism Attaché Francisco Lardizabal, this is a significant opportunity to showcase the Philippines in Times Square, especially as millions of tourists visit New York City during the holiday season.
“Times Square is a global crossroads, attracting millions during the holiday season. Through this campaign, we invite the world to discover the wonders of the Philippines. 'Love the Philippines' is more than just a slogan; it’s an invitation to fall in love with the unique sights, stories, smiles, and experiences that only our country can offer,” Lardizabal said.
The 15-second video campaign will be displayed at the corner of Broadway and 44th Street until January 1.
The 'Love the Philippines' banner will also be featured on taxis throughout New York City.
DOT is investing over two million pesos in this promotional campaign.
