Admit it, don’t we all enjoy a good, passionate kiss? A great kiss can transport you to an unknown universe, make your world stop, make your senses go blurry and hazy, and just like a movie, everything for you will seem to move in slow motion.

We listed down some of the best kisses we’ve seen from GMA News TV’s “Wagas: Mga Totoong Kuwento ng Pag-ibig,” a show about real extraordinary love stories sure to inspire even those who have become skeptical if true love does exist. Yes, sometimes we can doubt love, but we all know a good kiss when we taste one.

1. The kiss between two equals

Some people prefer having dominant or submissive partners, but Diego Silang (Marc Abaya) set his eyes on widow Gabriela (Glaiza de Castro) because he saw her as an equal. She was feisty and outspoken, contrary to the timid women of their generation.

True enough, after Diego’s assassination in 1763, she assumed her husband's role as commander of the rebel troops that fought against the Spanish rule.

Original airing date: March 15, 2014

2. The kiss that knows no gender

Lesbian Chesco (Julia Clarete) and cross-dressing gay Charee (Marky Lopez) unexpectedly fell in love and raised brows when they went public with their relationship. But there’s no stopping the kiss that didn’t recognize gender, but only knew whose lips it belongs to.

Original airing date: March 16, 2013

3. The kiss that waited 40 years

Teenage sweethearts Orly Escovido (Buboy Garavillo) and Amy Silvosa (Nova Villa) went on their separate ways after a series of unfortunate events led Amy to marry another man.

But 40 years later, they found themselves both single, and craving each other’s kisses.

Original airing date:  March 23, 2012

4.  The kiss you give after you almost die

Soldier Astro (Alex Medina) almost lost his life during a military mission. This served as a wake-up call and prompted him to invite his girlfriend Glee (Mara Lopez) to go to the beach with him, where he pulled off the most romantic wedding proposal yet.

Original airing date: October 12, 2013

5. The kiss of a power woman

Domestic helper turned CEO Rebecca Bustamante (Rufa Mae Quinto) always believed that every woman has the right to choose and pursue the man she wants to end up with.

When a friend pressed her to go on a date with a businessman named Richard Mills (Fabio Ide), Bustamante checked his profile first on the internet. She admitted she was not playing fair, as she lied to him about her family background and financial status to know how genuine his intentions were.

But when Rebecca revealed her real identity and decided to pursue a relationship with Richard, she proved that there’s nothing like the kiss of a highflying woman.

Original airing date: August 30, 2014
