Since the Philippine government went full blast in its war against drugs, thousands of killings hogged the headlines.But nothing has been said of the families who were left behind.

Widows of the slain suspects who were often labeled as social cancer.

 

 And women who lost their husband from performing their duties as frontline in the war against drugs.

 

While it was not the same story after another, It was the same story told over and over again - children longing for a parent, widows bearing huge responsibilities and parents grieving for their loss child.

Witnessing violence could have far-reaching negative effects. The lack of due process may cause distorted concept of justice and strong desire for vengeance.

 

The unexpected death caused a major detour in their lives. But others chose not just to move on.
