Maciang Pancitan
San Pedro, Laguna
What’s delicious?
Maciang Pancit is known for its lechon and egg toppings which have been used for their version of the noodle dish since the 1950s. Some customers love it so much they even add ketchup for more flavor.
As the name implies, Maciang Pancit was named after its creator, Maciang. Its unique take on the traditional pancit made it a favorite of the likes of billiards master Efren ‘Bata’ Reyes and international singing sensation Charice Pempengco.
How to get there?
Maciang’s Pancitan used to be a snack house for hungry billiard enthusiasts who would play at the small billiard hall nearby. Just ride a jeep going to San Pedro Town Proper and it’ll be a breeze finding it along the highway.
You can feast on Maciang Pancit for only P30 every day from 11 a.m. to 12 midnight.- Gerald Vista/KG, GMA News
